Picking Up Your Student

Parents please do NOT encourage your child to violate school policy. Students may not wait in the office or outside the school for someone to pick them up. All students are on the yard until 3:30. After that, please follow the school policy:

When picking up students from Century/LIFT, please call Mr. Ford at 310.412.2286 extension 24 and ask that the student(s) be escorted down to the parking lot or ask Mr. Adele, our Security Guard, who will know all of the students by name. This offer is extended to family members who have difficulty going up and down the stairs ONLY. Everyone else is to pick up his or her student(s) personally.

We are extremely safety conscious and find ourselves at cross purposes when families are instructing their children to break the rules.

Tardies, Tardies, Tardies!

We've been experiencing an increased amount of daily tardies. Parents, we really need your assistance to ensure that your child arrives to school on time. There seems to be a rash of students being dropped off on time by their family, however, they are continually being tardy to Advisory—We need your help! You can check your child's daily attendance on PowerSchool.

Update Your Emergency Contact Info

It is a must that each year we update our students' health and enrollment cards with accurate information. In case of an emergency, we need to reach someone by telephone to seek assistance for your student. It is important to be able to reach you at work if this is at all possible.

Please fill out the emergency form and return to the school. You can download the form here. (Acrobat Reader Required. Download the free reader here.)

Need to take time off work to attend a school function?
Uniforms

The uniform colors are white tops and navy blue bottoms—No Jeans. Uniforms must be worn Monday-Thursday. Friday is free dress. Free dress is a privilege, not a right. Students may lose free dress privileges if they do not follow the CCCS Code of Ethics by practicing scholarly actions, respectful behavior, and good citizenship.

Homework Reminder

Tutoring is available to help your child complete their homework. CCCS students have approximately 2 hours of homework nightly. Students staying after school until 6:00pm have ample time to finish their homework. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call the school.
